nova-conductor software package provides OpenStack Compute - conductor service, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nova-conductor
nova-conductor is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nova-conductor package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nova-conductor *
You will get with nova-conductor package name, version, architecture and description in a table
